You might agree or not, but for me the morning is my favorite part of the day. I love waking up early to prepare breakfast for other people. I love the calm, foggy atmosphere and how the sun turns the night into beautiful soft morning light. When I go to bed in the evening I look forward to the moment when I will hold a hot cup of tea or coffee in my hand, first thing on the next morning.
And there is something that is even more beautiful than just a morning. It's the moment when you wake up, look out of the window, with still tired eyes and you have to look twice because there is fresh snow.
So you can guess that the early morning hours and breakfasts were one of my favorite parts of our stay at the Woodridge Chalet. We got a huge basket full of local organic products like milk, yoghurt, fruits, granola, jam, tea, juice and delicious bread. While my family was still sleeping I was sitting next to the window, watching the fresh snow falling outside. I waited till they brought the breakfast and then I started to prepare the table. When I was done I put on a warm cardigan and went outside to stand on the wooden terrace for some minutes to breathe the fresh mountain air. Meanwhile one after another came down to the living room and my gramps started to make coffee :)
