Into the mountains we go

It was finally time for our annual ski vacation. Since there's not a lot of snow in the Alps right now, we decided to go to the Stubai glacier. The best part about it is, when we drive through the night and snowstorms and when you wake up, you're in the mountains. I had no glue how much I love the mountains and how much I would miss the alps. Living on Hawaii for three months I founds myself dreaming about "real" mountains many times, not just volcano hills ;).
Though there wasn't alot of snow we found some nice powder and freeride lines. The worst part was, when we got stuck in a ski lift for nearly one hour on our last run in the evening, because they had some issues with the electricity. We almost froze to death but luckily made it out alive - yay :) Oh and we also had a lot of pizza, red wine and parlor games. I can't wait to be back in some weeks.
